World Wildlife Day – Help raise awareness

We at Gavin Jones Ltd work tirelessly with our clients to raise awareness about the ecological value of land and the many benefits of wildlife planting to our natural heritage and human wellbeing. Our landscape experts help deliver sites that are planted with biodiverse, native wildflower species to create specific breeding habitats and nectar sources for a wide variety of bees and other invertebrates.

Small in stature but not in number, the estimated 10 million + species of invertebrates create the largest and most important group of organisms on Earth. Invertebrates are crucial components of every ecosystems, performing a wide variety of important functions. They aerate the soil, pollinate blossoms, and control insect and plant pests. As decomposers, insects help create nutrient rich topsoil, which is vital for the development of the landscape.

Our landscape design team works closely with our operational managers in order to promote ecological best practice through innovative and creative plant selection, bespoke and site specific landscape management plans and ongoing consultancy to ensure we are always adapting to the needs of the environment.
